Should I keep the stock 97 Cobra hood or go with the Cobra R hood? Also does anybody know the difference between Cervini's and Kaenen? Also what do you guys think about the Kaenen 3in cowl induction hood cause I'm kinda liking that one too.

You'll get all kinds of different responses. Its one of those things that are all personal opinion. For me I prefer the stock cobra hood. But I don't like cowl induction hoods on anything.

the hood on it, to me, is the best looking one you can just about get, keep it.. you dont see them very often (probably less often than cobra r hoods) and they look better. Cobra r's are just to visually heavy. Cervinis is a good company though, go with them for any thing like that you decide to buy.

Outlaw80 hit it right on the head. In the end it's a personal preference since it's your car. but since you ask, I personally like the stock cobra hood. Keep the stock hood, put that money towards a centri supercharger and make it a sleeper.

I'm the exact opposite. I like the 3in cowl idea.

Yah he'd have to balance it out with a larger spoiler like beaner did.

The only way that I'm installing a cowl hood: it's metal and I have S-E-R-I-O-U-S horsepower-to have need of that clearance factor-in the first place. Aftermarket hoods usually do not align as well-nor, to me-are they an improvement. I like stock

I got a Cervini's Cobra R hood on my 94. Check out my pics. I bought it because I was expecting clearance problems while I had an eye on a tall intake. The Cervini's hoods are very well made and fit great. I've gotten some big compliments on the look, but knowing now that it was unnecessary I don't think I'd have gone the same route.

I have the very same hood, with no spoiler. Looks like beaner has one upped me :/
