My Sons brand new Slim PS2 just died yesterday BY GOD
SONOFAB!TCH. I did call Sony and they said to ship it to them for replacement.

If you got the warranty at an EB Games store for instance, we take care of it. Otherwise, warranty issues go to Sony. They'll send you a refurb. |

Im not sending the controller only the unit and power cable cable.

I heard theres A. no fans in them B. that the fans suck in those
So does it have a fan? Cause thats something I havent figured out cause I dont own one. Thats the one complain Ive read is a fan issue but people just dont get their ish straight anymore

Well, with the old PS2s it was either...
A.) Controller cheat codes messing up the software.
B.) DVDs wearing the drive out early.
I haven't had a chance to really look at the slims at work. What message is it giving Corey? |

the no fans is whats going to do it... it will drastically shorten the life span.. which they probably intended to do. i also heard the "multitap" or whatever doesnt work on the slim version.

my ps2 took a dump on me.. my original PS2 at that
however
I stuck an alanis morisette cd behind the game CD
stuck it in..
and I've been playing GT4 a solid 24+ hours of game time since

about what? the alanis morisette cd? I used to listen to her.. I got over it real fast.. lol like 6 years ago 
the reason it wasn't working.. the disc spinner wasn't contacting my game discs.. it'd spin, but it wouldn't spin the disk.. an extra CD went in
and its been fine since
