They must be skeered that they may not be re-elected if these prices keep going up. Bout time they thought about it. Too bad we won't see the effects for 10 or so years....when gas will be about $15 a gallon in the south....

hopefully it will drop to around $1.00 a gallon, but atleast we are going in the right direction.

The odds of there being drastic drops are probably slim to none. When we do start seeing effects from this, there will be others in power that, like OPEC, will want to ensure prices stay at a certain level so that their pockets stay full. Production will change to ensure they still get paid. As long as we get out of the dependancy of rag heads...that is a move in a right direction.
