When i first heard of these new magnum 500 replica's i was thrilled. I loved the old steel ones from the early 70's. However I am wondering why there is such a difference between the 17" and 18" versions. Notice the opening between the spokes. 1st on is 17, 2nd is 18, and 3rd one is one of the original 15"

The 18" rim has a thicker black background behind the chrome spokes.
The black that outlines the spokes is thicker, where on the 17" it is more flush with the chrome spoke itself. Maybe this was just something the aftermarket company did to better differentiate the 18" from the 17" they offer.
I personally like the 17" style better where the black is more flush.

american muscle has them, they have specials from time to time and offer a forum discount, those wheels are generally priced great as well.

I seen the american muscle post here and thats what got me looking at them closer. I love the old style so the 17's are a bit disapointing to me. But i dont want 18" ers on mine. Just don't care for the short sidewalls(or the price of the tires). Guess i'll just keep looking for some original 15's and lower the car a little. or find some bullets cheap

Yah you usually can find bullitts for pretty cheap. Hell, I saw stock ones from an 01 GT on craigslist for $300 with 75% tread left on the stock eagles.
I also like the saleen S style on the 94-98s, If I had one, I'd definitely put those on it, just a personal preference
