Ive been looking around for a higher mileage 2003 or 2004 Mach1 5spd. But it seems I can only find automatics when Im looking for a 5spd. So I came across a 2004 Mach1 with a automatic for $13K with 35K miles on it, My plans were to make it into a drag racer. I know with a auto your 1/4 mile time will be more consistent than with a manual, But I was woundering would anyone jump on it and buy it (because of the decent price to milage ratio) or should I keep looking for a 5spd.

Yeah I know but it seems like when ever I was looking for a white (05-09) mustang 5 spd manual all I could find were blue 5spd automatics. I bought a auto because of the great deal I got on it. But right when I bought the auto,5spd manuals just popped up all over the place. I dont know Ill keep looking but it will still be an option. But has this happened to anyone else (looking for something and finding the opposite).

WOW Im surprised at how many automatic Mustang GTs (and Mach 1) there are used. Is there a way to see how many Automatics and manuals Ford put in for the mustang, lets say from 1999-2008??

so out of 16,789 Mach 1 made from 2003-2004, 3,435 are automatic and there has to be about fifteen or twenty automatics in the chicago land area.

Around here either people dont know and the people that know there are Mach1s they have them over priced and they are just so ignorant to the fact that its a "MACH 1" and woulnt budge on price.

That's pretty dumb, because the mach 1's are pretty abundant, especially the manuals, they made 7,709 manuals compared to 1,943 autos in 03. They aren't exactly the ultimate late model collector mustang. If it was an oxford white Mach 1 with an auto tranny, maybe I could see a higher than normal price tag...maybe

Wow, an actual ford dealership, that's pretty sad. Bunch of artards imo.
I was in Wisconsin Rapids and looked at an 02 GT and the sales guy thought the flowmaster exhaust came stock on the car, and the mach 460 was aftermarket put on by the previous owner

I dont want to start a topic in a different topic but to save some space Im going to do it. Ive been looking on Fordracing.com and they use to have a 4.6v control pack/wiring harness. I cant seem to find it on the site at all, unless Im over looking it? But is it possible I can find this part some where else?
