I am new to this so if i am posting this wrong i do apologize . I have a 2006 mustang gt . when car is sitting still the rpms flukuate just a little , but if i turn air on the rpm will drop to 0 and kill car when clutch ingaged. I checked fuel pressure and fuel pressure is only at 35 and when acceleration givin the rpm actually drop instead of getting stronger . I have replaced fuel pump and fuel filter already . the only code the check engine light is a cam postion sensor, but ive heard that other people thought that was the problem and it was not

35psi is about right at idle, could be a bit higher, but shouldn't be your problem. I wonder if the 4.6's have a fuel pressure regulator? could be an issue. I'm not familiar with the 4.6. Does the pressure drop when u give it gas?

yes it has a fuel pressure regulator but it is actually built on the fuel pump. so you can say it has been changed also i guess . the pressure does drop when you give it gas

has it been modded at all? i was really expecting an older car when i said the tps... still could be a possiblity, but i wouldn't suspect it on a newer model...
when did this all start? had anything changed around the same time this started that you can think of? maybe something within a couple weeks?

Are any of your lines crushed or kinked?

your fuel pressure (if similar to 99-04) is right on. Autometer tells me 25-40 psi at idle.
The top gauge is my fuel pressure gauge.
Your fuel pressure should react like that. I'm not sure how you're measuring it (Schrader Valve and throttle blip?)

I am testing fuel pressure by disconnecting the fuel line from fuel rail and hook it up that way. I do not have a schradier valve

not that i have noticed , just got it back from the ford place . they changed throttle body and a sending unit. 660.00 dollars. the throttle body did fix the problem with my car dieing when air is on when i am stopping . but did not fix my hesitation.
