alright i bought my car and it has 99 svt cobra rims on it, anyway the front right tire has like 0% tread, feel like im running slicks, and the guy gave me 4 tires that are pretty good shape on the stock pony rims, what would it cost to have my bad tire with the svt rim switched with the stock pony tire? can i just take the rims off the tires myself or does a tire shop have to do it? i gotta drive on the highway monday to go to work and noone's open today....can wal-mart prolly do this job? my stepdad just wants to put the 4 tires that are on the stock pony rims on it but the svt rims give it a great look

you have to have a shop remount the tires. but i dont think pony rims are the same diameter as cobra rims so it wont work anyway

yea the stock rim tires wont work unless they are also 17s, and a 245/45/17 in size. If they are then its about 10 bucks to 15 bucks~ to have a tire swaped.

I would look into getting 4 yokahoma AVS es100s if you think all 4 tires are getting in need.

you cant take the tire off the rim yourself its to much hassel and you will just mess the rim up.
