Okay come 1-2 years from now i'll be getting back into a real sportscar. It's a real tough choice because I love all three of them, but if you were in my spot which would you choose?
03-04 cobra

03-04 Mach I

05 gt

I would wait until you are ready to buy, then choose. It's amazing what pops up when you are ready.
I was wanting to buy a C5 and then found the evo. Don't set your goals on 1 car. Your plans/likes,etc will change in 2 years.

i agree.. but my opinion would be a 2005+ model. for the simple fact that you can buy it new or fairly new. a used cobra or mach 1 was probably driven hard and just isnt the same as a new car.

True, but not from a mustang. Mustang is just my car. I wish I still had my gt. Thats what I really want again. Who knows when that time comes I might just sell my truck and buy another gt like my old one, none-the-less it's gonna be a stang I get.

I'd go with the 05 unless you could find a brand new 04 Cobra in 2 years.
Just remember that the 05 is a whole new style and the aftermarket is having a feast on it. These cars will be running insane times with a reasonable amount of money spent.

No it wont nate, now quite with it already. I wasn't happy in my 6er so I got my truck and i'm happy with it, but i've always wanted a v8 and decide to wait till I was 23 for the sake of lower insurrance. My mind will not change from this so drop it already its getting old.

Dude, whats getting old is all the talk, i will bet in 2 years, you are still in the truck. Say what you want, but I can promise it. You can hardly afford your truck anyway, how do you think that in 2 years you will be able to afford any of those cars!! Take out ANOTHER loan?? Financing, whether you "do it right" or not, is a horrible idea. You can't get financing on lock dude, noone ever does.
Besides, if this is supposedly happening in 2 years, whats the point of posting about it now???
I am just speaking from experience bro, ive given up on what I am doing with cars until i fix the one I have.
EDIT: And pay it off! I am never financing a car again!

Your speaking to me like I dont know anything. I've messed around with financing more then you have nate. I was just asking for their opinions on the cars. By the time this actually happens i'll have a lot paid down on my truck plus a downpayment. I'm going to be getting a better job here soon. Might actually be getting back into grounds work making 11 an hour. Jojo told me about the job so i'm seriously considering it because he's looking into going to work there also. You gotta realise i'm not planning to go in there without being able to get a good payment on it. That is why i'm not buying a brand new car again.

ok, ok, the point is across. Anyway, Mike, from those three cars, Id say either the cobra or the 05, thats a tough one for me. I love the 05s looks, and the power aint bad, but you just can;t beat the cobras power, in a mustang, yet. Its tough.
