I dont know about most of you guys/girls but Im sick of hearing about GM and how they will start making new fuel efficient cars, how they will cut jobs, close plants, and killing off Pontiac. Why doesnt anyone look at Ford Motor Company and at all the positive things they are doing, with the new 2010 Ford Fusion hybrid that gets 41MPG in the city(Americans most fuel efficient four door sedan), for a full size car that is pretty damn good. Then Ford is reopening its cleveland plant to build its new fuel efficient engine (which means more American jobs), Ford is also raising production 10%(10,000 more vehicles) this quarter. Unlike GM and Chrysler, Ford didnt take any bail out money and hasnt filed for bankruptcy. Now Im not saying that I hope GM and Chrysler die cause that would make matters worse in the US but I dont understand why the news is always focusing on the bad of the auto industry when there is so much good going on too. If anyone want me to prove what I have said just ask and I will. But I am sick of hearing of GM and Chryslers bad news.

people love bad news. thats why you always hear stories about rape and murder and never anything positive like scientific discoveries or innovations or whatever.
did you know they discovered that Saturn's moon Enceladus probably has water on/it it? they discovered salt water geysers on the surface. nope, probably not - dc had metro wreck and michael jackson died.
seriously though, 99% of news is bad news. its more interesting.

I don't believe the government wants the us automakers to do well. They simply throw the money at gm and chryler to say they tried. Why would a us president and government give so much positive talk about foreign companies and do it so often? Why would the us government give tax incentives to import products instead of having them made in the us??

positive news is not news to the networks, only things that are bad and get people to watch makes the air... its kind of our own fault~ we like to watch bad things more than good it seems.

Notice how none of them have mentioned IRAQ since obama (the guy the media wanted) became the pres. Were still over there!!!!!!!!!!!! They don't give a crap about the men and women in uniform. They just used them to get what they want. Has obama done anything for them since taking office? NO!! Hes too worried about helping his terrorist buddys get out of jail.

i disagree. i read stories all the time about iraq and afghanistan - sometimes even pakistan and most definitely iran recently.
in fact, today for a while, the top story on my home page was about iraq and how iraqi soldiers are securing a lot of the cities... and how iran keeps funding terrorists in iraq.
