Bad News for GM

car makers use the same chassis on different vehicles because it cuts down costs. i dont have any problem with that. if gm uses the same chassis on a bunch of cars, whats the big deal? obviously it works cause theyre #1 in the world, so why would they change anything?

and remember, looks are in the eye of the beholder. and most times (95%) of consumers dont give a crap what chassis it uses, where it came from, how much power the car really makes, etc. as long as it looks good and they can still afford it.

Used to...the Mercury Villager and Nissan Quest were the same. Then they went opposite directions. And seeing how the Windstar is no more....then no, they don't share.

No offense taken. There's no mullet on this head. I'll agree with you on what killed the f-body, though. The marketing geniuses at GM priced them too high for their target segment. I'm still holding on to hope that we'll see a reasonably priced, retro styled, LS2 powered Camaro to compete with the '05 Mustang.

Hey my friend from work's dad works at GM as an executive, I told him about this and this is what he said

"Oh yeah, they said something like they are going to make like 2 sports cars and mostly SUVs after that. My dad did say though they are bringing back the Camaro."
