I wouldn't do the vertical doors, there's so much more involved there than you think. You have to worry about the doors coming out from the side so they will clear the front fenders, the doors being able to seal, etc etc, I'd put that money towards something that would be worthwhile for the car and not lead to you getting pissed at it either.

for the price of the vertical doors you could easily gain a lot of horses. plus i dont know how credible most vertical door kits are out there..

vertical doors are cool but they are just begging for issues... i wouldnt mess with em, to much money... but thats a personal desicion for what you consider taste in modifying a car.

Just putting it on is not as easy as it sounds. The IAC passages do not
line up properly and it needs modified. The TB is too big for the crossover tube
anyway, you need posts removed to use a 70mm TB effectively. I've done it
it fits great if you know what you are doing. In your case (NA 3.8 w/cam)
I'd just 1/2 shaft the TB and cal lit good. I have a how-to listed here:
1/2 shaft how-to (2nd post in thread)
Try that and it will be a great match for the NA 3.8 and a cam, even with porting.
See the other stickys for great V6 modding info!

^^ exactly. 70mm is too big for an N/A 3.8 motor unless you have a sheetmetal intake, fully stage 3 ported heads, wild cam, etc.

When you remove those two bolts that run down through the TB crossover tube in the upper intake, does that have the possiblity of making the intake not seal right anymore? I mean, aren't those bolts there for a reason? Or are they relocated somehow?

I use shorter bolts that are flush to the crossover tube floor.
Guess you could call it relocated... making them lower.
