Yep, for those who saw my post in show and tell, I got it powder coated, I may get it done in a chrome powdercoat but black is free for me so here it is:

It got my attention cuz the short version was "latest pix of INTAKE" on the index page
But it is very nice! That is what the V6's need for the blower inlet tubing.

I'll be doing the same thing with the elbow from the aftercooler to the throttle body but I'm going to use aluminized steel as that will be easier to weld.
I will definitely have a story behind the blower install

It's not that complicated to make really, the aluminum welding is a pain with a mig welder but a steel version would work if powdercoated.

The problem with an ATI is the small clearance between the blower inducer
and the radiator, and ATI supplies a cheap plastic "hat" that is flat to clear.
Looks like a restriction and it is! Thanks for the tip there Whipster, I could
make one for my single port R&D guy if he ever gets modding again...
