Well, I was out looking for a truck for my dad today and ran across this 01 Cobra, 68xxx miles, runs perfect. Problems: 2nd gear synchro is gone, needs front bumper, front grill support, rear bumper, little exhaust work, and alot of tlc. I offered the guy what I'm willing to pay for this car..so we'll see how it works out. If I get this, I'll fix it, drive it until I can't afford insurance anymore (a week or so) and sell it for profit, what ya think guys?

I just don't think he's gonna come down to my price. The only way I'd buy this is if I know I'm gonna make money off it.

get a quote from your insurance company, it probably wont be too much more, like 20-30 more a month

19...they'd love me at the insurance company. I'd just put liability on it though, and sell it first chance i get.

Haha...yes I know...but the first month that insurance payment comes in, it'll be sitting in the front of my apt complex with a for sale sign lol. The only, I repeat only, reason I would think about buying this car is to make money, plain and simple.

Yes yes true, I'm scared bout the synchro though. I've heard horror stories about changing those....and don't want this to turn into a money pit. The body work is no problem at all.
