looks really nice and clean, well done, from what I can see in the pics, you did your homework. A friend of mine is doing kind of the same thing except he is a dumbass, he will ask me for my opinion then do something totaly opposite cuz he is retarded.... such as ask me which brakes to get.

I tell him to go to speedconcepts and get a full set for 420 with rotors adn only get sloted or plane rotors and get them coated to prevent rust and finish it up with stainless steel lines..

His interpretation, go directly to ford, pay 850 bucks and get slotted and drilled rotors that arnt protected and DONT get stainless steel lines.

He droped 3k on saleen kit from cali mustangs (expensive place to go... i told him to go to saleen direct but he dont listen again) and he got knock off eagle brand (bad for vibration) 17inch instead of the REAL saleen 18s... (another bad move) and a fugly hood.

you need some 03 cobra side mirrors they go GREAT with the saleen style.

That looks nice man. I'm thinking about keeping my grill and doing the corral aroudn the pony black like the saleen style to save some money for a little bit. Did you paint yours or buy a saleen part?

you can buy the roush pony which is a floating pony for a deleted grill but it also has the corral, which is rather rate, would be a nice touch for the saleen front probably.

It's not really misbadging...Saleen makes body kits for a reason...Now if he "number coded" it, then that would be misbadging.

All Saleens start out as GT's anyways...

I wouldnt put saleen on mine... just a little to far, i would put mustang with teh saleen stripes on the side at most...but now why are you selling it after putting all that money into it... kind of throwing away an investment?

I am looking at a 250k house so thats why Im selling it and I dont care what you guys think of putting a Saleen sticker on a windshield or making a car what it really isnt. I feel if you go all out and do it right thats fine thats how Saleen does their authentic cars. Thats my .02 thanks

Also Spector you say you wouldnt go as far as putting a Saleen sticker on the windshield well why would you put a cobra hood and bumper with a saleen spoiler on a V6?

its not about the kit, bumpers and what not, its the sticker. Saleen is ok, its not like your putting cobra logos on it, saleen is one of those companies that you pretty much can mail order it... i mean if you throw on some pulleys you got a base saleen lol.
