I helped a guy last night take C springs off his gt and put his OEMs back on OMG talk about headache... they are FAR to tall to pop right in and you got to use a spring compressor (lucky I have one) .... talk about taking forever... trust me just dont do it, with out a compressor its IMPOSSIBLE to do unless you drop the A arm which is a pita to put back in.

well there is NO need for a compressor when you are puting in lowering springs ona 94-04 but on fox bodies you do need it... and if you run progressive springs then getting the compressors on/off is a major PITA depending, and you have VERY little room to put the compressors no (the ones we have) and get them off, the A arm gets in the way so you have to set em so that they are off centers.. and I did have air but still its so much more crap to do than just putting in lowering springs.... I can have a set of springs installed in under 2 hours with out a lift or better but with stock springs its a ton longer due to hassels.

the compressors that i used were very easy to put on. i dont remember what brand they were since i borrowed them form my body shop teacher. but yeah sometimes though its the little details that cause most of the time to fly.

if you are gonna do a write up here is something that might make it go by faster, i wrote this for someone on another forum a few weeks back
Jack up the rear of the car
next put jackstands in the rear part of the unibody and remove the jack
take off both rear wheels
next jack up the axel on the side which you will be replacing the spring
unbolt the shock bolt and nut that connects the axel housing to the shock
lower the jack slowly
with your foot push down on the arm and tug on the spring it should come out with minimal difficulty
transfer the upper isolator to the new spring
place the spring back on the control arm making sure the lower pig tail is facing the driver side
jack up the axel once more
replace the shock bolt and nut (tq spec= goodentight)

I already have one thats rather huge, you got to think of everythign for people... the little details are what they usually get stuck on. I need pics and what not maybe we can when we do an install on nicks car or brads.
