would a 03 4.6 fit in a 00 mustang 4.6

I need to do a motor swap on my 00 Mustang Auto and my question is would a 03 mustang 4.6 fit? Would anything need to be modified? I know I have a windsor engine and I think a 03 is a romeo (not sure)

yes it will go in with no problem, u will have to get a flywheel for the romeo engine but other than that it will work.

the 99-00 engines are said to be stonger~ not exactly sure why

the cranks are better in the windsors- they have the 8 bolt crank similar to the cobra vs the 6 bolt in the romeo.

They are 'better' in that it's an 8 bolt crank, but from what I've heard they're no stronger than the 6s, they weren't stronger like the cobras
I could be wrong
