This is gk22coe's dad's 1971 firebird that has been in his basement for 17 years. It has a 350 in it . We pulled it out today and took off the thick layer of dust and gave it a good wash. It has basically zero rust and has a few spots of paint coming off but not much at all. Today we took out the spark plugs and put some marvel stuff into the cylinders, we will be replacing the plugs. We changed the oil, replaced the oil filter and a few other things. We also turned it over manually and watched the pistons move, everything looks good. Hopefully we will have it running soon. We are ordering a new carborator, probably will flush the gas tank and fuel lines. Got some stuff to do before cranking it but, it has been garaged and all and seems to be in very good condition. Just have to do a few things to get it up to date and it should be runnin great.

lol, it is like a basement that has a garage type door for like lawn mowers and stuff...i mean, the house is on a hill and its the kind of basement where one part is in the ground but the other you can actually walk out of and be outside...
