Urgent throttle body question!

Does a bbk throttle body work with a jlt cai? will it need to be tuned if I just put on the throttle body?

yes, you will need a tune if its a GT, I am pretty sure on a V6 as well.. My idea behind this is if your CAI doesnt require a tune... guess what... its not good enough  and doesnt flow enough air to warrant one, I would get one that does require it.
The throttle body in your near stock car is worthless, dont waste your money on it. |

Yes I realize it is near stock worthless, but I plan on buying a jlt cai from bama with their tunes. Will the throttle body pose any difference then? Im looking at one that I can get for 125 dollars from a friend. (it looks next to new).
Will bama alter the tunes if I have a bbk tb? |

they will make the tune for whatever you have put on you can get bbk holley anything they will do it |

Don't get the BBK TB, you are asking for trouble. I'm running a SC @ 10psi with the stock TB, it flows plenty. Use the money for something else (better)...................

I've seen cars run the stock throttle body up to 400-500 hp, like bluestang said, just save the money and spend it something better.

aftermarket throttlebodies hardly show gains on forced induction. spacers are garbage as well. for the price of a throttle body you can get a set of steeda pullies and delete plates. |
