I just picked up some TSW 17'' rims from Discount Tire Direct.com. Just wanted to get some opinions.

pretty much like spector said, not something i woulda picked out personally, but it doesn't look bad to me, i know some rims you coulda put on there that wouldn't have been a good match.

yah, I'm personally an oem-similar kinda guy but it's your car, so more power to ya...at least they retain a 5 star pattern.

Yeah i know what you mean. the replica rims look good on mustangs, but b/c it's a Roush I couldn't put a competitor's brand on it like the Bullit, FrS500, Saleen style, Cobra, etc.

Keep looking. You can find used sets of the 18" for your year for $1000 - $1500 with tires on them. Also, nothing wrong with a nice set of Bullitt wheels... some Roush cars came with them stock (and Roush had a big hand in making the Bullitt cars for Ford anyway).

The look is starting to grown on me...i didnt like it at first, but its getting better...I am curious though as to what happened to the Roush wheels that would have been on the car?

Well originally, the first owner took off the Roush rims and put on these ugly 20'' ones. The guy had very bad taste.

the new ones are for sure better than the 20s.
I'm just into the clean simple looking rims.

There is a lot wrong with the bullit rims....but they would have been acceptable compared to the ones he replaced.
But these new ones are a ton better than those 20's. No wonder you wanted to change them out.

The wheels on the Codd's where 18" Smoothie IIs that you can buy right from Boyd Coddington. I don't think I've seen them come up used lately.
I was actually talking about the Roush 18x9 or 18x10 set up (Argents or chrome). There were 3 versions of them that changed over the years just a bit. Roush also used a 17x8 in '99-'01 and on the JR Classic.
Most of the 360R/380R came with Bullitt 17x8 wheels. For the most part, it was the R cars with the upgrade from 13" to 14" front brakes that got the 18" rollers.
