Guage lights

When I installed my dad's reverse glow guages last year I remember looking at the back of the cluster and it appeared to have access to the bulbs for the cluster, can anyone confirm this, also, has anyone tried replacing them with LEDs?

I know I could just go and get reverse glow guages or whatnot, but I was just thinking about this. ANy ideas?

You could. It would be alot of work though.

How difficult could it possibly be? Not trying to be a jerk, just asking seriously? If I had to guess it would be a matter of using a multimeter to find the voltage and to find the positive side, and then using a resistor and led?

I don't think the lights are that easy to access. I think that's what Dom was referring to.

I know one guy who used to post here (Laser02) replaced all his stock lights with red ones, like the ones behind the AC panel, etc. He said he had to actually break some parts to get back there.

Yea, he had to break them and reseal them.
