Some ppls told me that if I change the exhaust system this could void my car's warranty and some others say no if I keep my originals cats. Its a 2004 with less than 11000 kms ( ~7500 mi.). So as you can imagine I don't want to lose my warranty...
As most of you already changed their exhaust system, I'm sure I'll get the right answer...
Thx in advance...

If you change only from the catback it can not void your warranty

Brent is right. It would void anything having to do with what you change, which would only be catback exhaust, and not much can go wrong there.

According to law that only way a warranty claim can be denied by the use of aftermarket parts is if, and only if, the use of that part causes the warranty claim.
For example, you put a supercharger on and blow your engine. You are not going to get that fixed under warranty without any problems. Assuming you show up at teh dealer with the blower still installed
If you are running a set of duals and you lose a headgasket they'd have a hard time denying your claim. That being said if they did deny the claim you'd have to go to court, assuming you run up the chain at Ford and get it denied the whole way.
So the legal answer is no, but the realistic answer is maybe, depending on the friendliness of your dealer and your willingness to play hardball. Oh, one other thing, the OEM 10 year warranty on the exhaust mandated by emissions laws would not apply on all the aftermarket parts, not sure about the OEM stuff left after adding duals still being covered. A strong case could be made that the addition of non-factory approved parts to the exhaust system caused the failure of the remaining parts of the factory exhaust and in any case they'd only be obligated to return it to original condition.

So, if I understand, I should not get troubles, with cat-back, plus the fact that I plan to get some brand new Ford parts (stock GT exhaust system) and according to the price they'll charge me, maybe the dealer will do the job....
But I want to "play safe" with them, and I don't want them to deny the warranty if something happens to the engine !
Thanks all of you have clarified my wonderings...

if you have the ford dealer replace it with another ford exhaust system, then there's no way in hell it can void your warranty, becuz the parts used are OEM, installed by certified FORD mechanics. so any fault leading to failure in that case would lead straight to ford, thus not affecting your warranty

your warranty is only voided on the items you replaced and the items they come in contact with, exhaust doesnt do anything else other than remove exhaust from your car so it will only void the exhaust warranty, if your mufflers falls off... ford wont cover it lol.
they have to proove your mod messed something up to not work on the car in a given area, some ford dealers are extremly anal ... when legally they can not be.
talk to your local ford dealer, let them know that you understand the laws of how it works so they wont BS you and see what they say, i dont think you will have a problem.
