Well its not really all the funny, but more of a testament to how slow honda's are.
Ok 2 nights ago I was driving my mom's 2002 Explorer. It's the v6, not the 8. I'm pretty sure it has atleast 3.55's in it.
So I do my thing then I goto get gas at this station we have called Sheetz. There's like 4 jackasses there all with honda's with their hoods open arguing about who's Cold Air is better. I naturally walked over to find 4 stock honda's with exhausts and CAI's. I kinda gave them a look, chuckle, and walked in to pay ofr my gas. As I'm coming out one of the kids who was about twice my size asked if I had a problem with his car. I just said "No, I just think it's ****ing retarded what your doing to that 4 cyl econo car." He got pissed and told me to put my money where my mouth was so I told him to F off and walked to my mom's explorer.
I pull out of the place and all 4 of the punks pull up behind me at the light to make a left. I'm first and I know they are gonna do the flyby and that this road never has cops on it so I decide to see what a stock 02 explorer can do to some "modded" civics.
Basically they are revving at me the entire light and it turns green and I floor it. 4wd kicks in and I get traction immediatley and take off and the ****ers are trying already to pass me in the left lane. We race down the highway and I'm prob doing about 85 and still just pulling away from them. Uh oh though, red light. So I slow down and stop and the one that confronted me pulls next to me. I look over and laugh at him and he flips me off and revs. I rev too but hit the limiter at 3500 on the explorers so he doesn't hear much.
Me and him drag now on a very gradual straight hill. Light turns green and I mash it. He does also and chirps into 2nd. When he shifts my car shoots ahead maybe a length. It just kept getting worse for the guy.
It was maybe an 1/8 mile drag but this guy was 6 lengths atleast behind me before we had to slow for traffic. Yea this is a honda with CAI, exhaust, a chip apparently, and a short throw cause the guy chirped them into 2nd.
I have also killed a hevily modded celica and a 97 sub legacy GT with my moms stock explorer.
Toyota sucks, Honda's worse, and Subaru is still sweet.

Wow, how to feel after that. I'm sure he had his excuse that he went and told his friends about afterward. He didn't lose a race, you just ran away cause you were scared or something like that. You know how it goes. |

i miss my parent's explorer. it was a v6 also but it was so much more awesome than the POS xterra they traded it in for.  |

I love driving the thing, its a fcking tank in the snow, the heater works so fast its slow, and it can kick the shiite out of almost anything thrown at it. Cept for v8's and beastily v6's. 7 Seats, a honda eater, black paint, nice gears, and a pretty nice stereo system. Too bad I almost crashed it on ym way up to vermont January.

ive had countless hondas and focus' rev at me since ive been driving the 88...I dunno if its the primer...no 5.0 badges on the sides...not really loud until I dig into it...dunno 
ive embarresed 2 focus' (one on wet pavement so yea hes a good driver lol) 1 pre 99v6, 1 00 v6 5spd(friend) A bunch of civics and 1 accord earlier today on my way to get lunch.
I just want them all to leave me alone...but im not gonna back down from em...

One time the most embarassing thing ever happened when my friend wanted to race me in his Eagle Talon TSi...I'm at the light not paying attention and I look up and see its green and panic..and yea stalled out at the start 
But yea there was a ricer meet near the wawa close to my house, I was in my 300zx driving by real slow and revved and they all looked like wow look at that car and I rolled my window down..stared at them..then yelled RIIIIIICER! hah good stuff |

Reminds me of when Brent lost to a riced out eclipse, claims i distracted him by telling him to look at the semi next to us and saying he should race him. It wasn't my fault.
