I'm a v6 kinda guy and I'm wondering what mods I should do in order when it comes to a GT. I know which mods prioritize over others in the 3.8 but i dont know much about the GTs.

gears (3.90 minimum with your trans..) intake, xpipe/catback exhaust, short throw shifter, custom tune, pulleys help, too.. upper intake plenum and TB won't help as much..

UD Pullies don't do much on GTs. Youll get bigger bang for your buck doing PI or ported npi heads/PI cam, Intake Exhaust etc etc.

I didn't see a shift kit mentioned or on a straight drive a heavier duty clutch and pressure plate, very good mods, I have a B&M shift kit and B&M supercooler on my transmission. I dont' recommend a set of headers on a 4.6 because they are a pain to install. I went with 3" catback, mac hi flow cat H pipe, 2.5 inch. She is LOUD, a little louder than I like, but its fun once you are used to it. I have a ported plenum, and 70mm Mac tobody, also C&L maf and inlet pipe, air flows in good, air flows out good. I like my pulley set too, and I have a timing adjuster which is set to zero since I got my SCT chip put in. Changing to 99+ heads is a good one for pre 99 cars, porting of your PI heads is good, but a tad expensive and labor intensive as is changing the cams, I think the stock stuff is fine, depends what you want to do with her.
