So I stumbled onto this when I was looking at a mustang built for the fast and the furious 4 online. The crew that built it put in a killerglass radiator hose!
The hose is literally glass! So you can see your coolant running through it, and it also has leds lol. I think it looks so cool, and would be well worth the 200 dollars it cost.
Any thoughts???
WOW!!! I just checked and they have it reduced to 150 dollars! 25% off! I am definetly buying this now!

as cool as that would look with a lot of chrome under the hood, i would probably end up breaking it... also, remember your motor moves around a little bit and the radiator is bolted to the frame... glass doesn't flex as much as rubber

Bright green coolant and LEDs? I'm sorry to say it seems very ricey (I didn't look at any pics though). However for a show car I don't think it would seems as bad. What really makes it worse is that it's from the Gay and Curious Franchise.
My friend you are about to get flamed.

it is cool looking (I guess my computer building days are talking) but not for me~ as my coolant is yellow and ugly looking... now if you could make it a given color... but still a bit ricey for me.

Well theres no worry of breaking it, it shows in a video a pickup running over it, so I'd say its quite durable. And as for it being a bit of a waste... I wouldnt mind showing it off to my friends at school. lol

i was thinking the same thing when i first looked at the video, i was thinking about when i was building my computer cause i was looking into water cooling systems.
also another problem with this is, my factory top hose rubs on the hood (i dunno why, but the original one and the one i replaced it with both rub) and i'm going to guess that is a bit thinker to give it strength, i don't remember what year mustang you have off hand, but a 94/95 gt might not be good.
if you do get this id be interested in hearing how it does after a ton of driving, i know its probably not really glass but a resign, but that constant high temp low temp high temp might not be good unless it was really designed to handle that for a while.
I'm not trying to say its a horrible idea, if you think its cool by all means go for it, it just seems like it might have some flaws over the rubber hoses that have been being used forever.

tell me how it works out! I should have money for mine in a couple of days. Also I had a question about the red underbody leds on your car. Where did you get the kit from, were they hard to hook up, and do they run all the time? Thanks!

Ok thanks how do you have it wired in? Was it hard to install?
I was thinking about getting red leds too, because it will match my red leather. Do they run day round?

Any of you computer builders ever melted a prossesor? Me and my cousin used to overclock 486s (Pre pentium) so fast they would last about a week then POP.
The computers where free so 1 week of blazing fast quake was worth it

WOW I checked the video out It's true-"one man's shack, is another man's castle I think it's kinda cool-`just not rushing to order one and install it. But-there's strenght in our diversity so let each person do as they will to personalize their respective ride(s)
