I don't believe you'll need compressors as long as your not putting progressive springs in b/c if you're dropping it, the springs will be smaller than the stocks.

you dont need spring compressor. If you are keeping the stock springs and changing the shocks/struts, then just take them off and replace. You dont even need to take the springs off of the front to replace the struts

Putting shocks/struts on a fox is pretty darn easy... installing springs however will have you cussing if you plan to pop em in with out removing the A arm... I highly suggest getting on a flat concrete like surface and putting the car's body on stands up rather high in the air, not way up just decently high.
You can get the stock spring out by just putting the jack under the A arm and compressing the spring a little bit, then removing the sway bar bolt, the brake caliper or brake line ( zip tie the caliper off to the side if you do remove it) then remove teh cc plate bolts and use an impact gun to remove the strut nut (you WILL have to 9/10 times) then drop the jack, check for the strut binding on the under side of the fender by re compressing the spring a bit and then if it is compress the strut by hand and guide it out from under the inner fender well sheild thing. It will then come all the way down and out from under the fender, dont scratch up the edge of yoru fender with the strut shaft! Finally use a crow bar and pop the spring out away from the tire rod end side of the A arm so it wont get binded on that crap when she pops out.. getting the new on in however is the fun part... may as well remove the strut from the knuckle and unbolt the A arm.... you will need two hydrolic jacks to put the A arm back in.
Replace the strut and guide it back up into its mount it will anchor the front of the A arm so it cant go out as you are compressing the spring in the A arm.
Use one jack under each side of the A arm to guide it up and into its bolt locations... its a pita to line up the bolts just have to work with the jacks and eventually it will line up... then bolt her back up and tq em to stock spec (not sure what but its atleast 80ftlbs (good time to replace bushings!!!!!!!!!))
thats it, the strut tqs with an impact the cc bolts... just check the recomendations if you run aftermarket else stock is not much like 30ftlbs 35max~ something like that.
I would definatly do cc plates while im at it.
for the rear shocks just jack up the car then jack up the axle like half an inch from its free hanging position, remove the shock bolt on the axle mount and then go in the trunk and use a wrench to hold the shaft while you remove the topbolt, then she falls out on who ever is below (ask brent)
rear springs pop out easy, while the shocks are not on the rear end just jack up one side with the jack to foce the other side down then pop em out, mark how the pig tails are facing.. i face the cut end forward to the frotn of the car but what ever floats your boat.

No you won't need a compressor. You will need a floor jack and jackstands.
Maybe an air compressor and gun to take off the upper strut nut. Then the bolts on the back of the brakes as well.

fox stangs are diff... the springs are majorly compressed... you will need a compressor unless you put in springs that give you a 4 inch drop or something lol. Or you will have to remove the A arm... unless you can compress a spring with your bare hands.

To convert to 5 lug the front is not to bad, just get a set of spindles form a 94/95 gt with brakes, (99+ pbr brakes/cobra calipers will fit with a little bit of grinding so the bottom bolts line up... just a little) heck cobra calipers probably will fit with no issues.. since they did also have em in 95... lol
get a new ball joint for your year, else you will need a spacer on the spindle bolt... not a bid deal just got to remember to do it.
spin the assembly and make sure its in good shape of course. my friend got one bad spindle and he had to replace the lugs and bearings.
for the rear you will need to buy a kit with axles and drum brakes or you can convert to disk rear brake which will need a new master cylinder.
