I have wanted a Mustang for as long as I could remember. I was home on R&R leave from Iraq and found this 99 Mustang SVT Cobra for a really good deal. I am currently in Iraq on my second tour in the US Army. I am from Texas but I am stationed in Alaska. I plan on doing alot to my Cobra but I still want it to be street legal and a daily driver.

welcome :thumbs2:
Nice lookin cobra. Looks like you got some exhaust and tail light tint already. Wheels and some lowering springs always drastically improve the looks of any mustang.

Oh man... Got snow tires?
I don't have the faintest clue what it takes to drive a 'Stang around in what is basically the North Pole, but Dunlop makes a pretty kickass winter tire.
How long will you and the car be there?

Well i am in Iraq right now, the car is with my wife in Alaska. I should be getting back soon and then I should be going back home to Texas in December. The car will be shipped back sooner than that though.

It's summer time right now in Alaska and it shouldnt start getting cold until the end of september or the beginning of October. I think it will be alright, I live pretty close to work and a few of the guys have GT's up there.

Damn, my wife had to move my car and she backed into a fence. Since I am in Iraq all I have is the net to find stuff and I can't seem to find a new tail light besides from ford for $331. Does anyone know where i can find a stock Left Hand Tail light for a 99 SVT Cobra. It's different from all the other years.
