Need help on a scraped paint

Hey guys,maybe somebody would share me some tips on restoring
body paint.3 days ago there is a cold jelly heart at walmart parking lot that scrape my stang which i believe with a key.It is kinda deep that seems like there is something bitter in that person's heart,and it is a yard long.Maybe there is a way fixing it without repainting the whole car or the whole fender and door.Thanks in advance.

a shotgun would be means of fixing in my books... as for the car, you might be able to go to a body shop and see what they offer and get some quotes

yeah you just gotta go around to different body shops and get quotes. I know what you are talking about cause it seems no matter how clean I keep the car inside and out, some jag off keys, scratches, or nicks my baby, and I just keep going to my body guy. look luck with fixing your mustang.

with cars that have been keyed if its not super deep you may can do something about it other wise you must paint the entire panel

yeah some one keyed my deck lid and it was so deep it went through to the sheet metal. I had to get the whole deck lid repainted. My old boss said that if the mark/scrape is more or less on top of the clear you can just buff it out. But SpectorV is right, if its deep enough then the whole panel, fender etc. has to be repainted.
