poor little integra........maybe next time

so i'm at a light, fixin to go to my friends apt. when an integra pulls on side of me and throws a rev, well i figure since the last race was going to be no where near as fun as this one, i rev back. i ask him what he has and he doesnt tell me, he just says "a little bit of performance stuff" so the light turns green and we're off. i pull a very little off the line but when we hit 30 the integra is now about a foot or two in front of me. when he shifts out of second (he's a manual) i pull a few feet in front of him and stay there for a few seconds, then we saw traffic up the road so we slowed down. the race was maybe to 80 with his front bumper at my quarter panel.
when traffic let up we did a sixty punch and i immediately started to walk slowly away.
0-80 i won by by a few feet
60-90 i won by almost a car length

although he didnt say exactly what he had, he told me he was an ls 5-speed w/ a few things (i know he had exhaust b/c i saw and heard it). does anyone have an est. as to what a manual integra ls w/ intake and exhaust would run in the quarter? (assuming thats all he had)

I ran into an early-90's model (maybe even late-80's...I'm no Integra expert) at the 1/8 mile strip in Huntsville. It was equipped with a fart can and one of those huge aluminum wings. It was, quite possibly, the slowest car I'd ever seen. He's in the left lane of the slip on the left:

my best freind did a 15.8 with a bone stock 97 integra LS 5spd. he usually put his intake and took his catback off(ran open downpipe, nobody was the wiser) but that day we just went to the track for fun, we figured we were gonna be late but ended up getting there early so he ran anyways. first 2 runs he did a 16.4 and a 16.2 and was gonna quit, then decided to go balls to the wall, and got the 15.8.

then again my freind is prolly one of the best drivers i know. in that teg we used to go to "teh runs" and he would take out modded gsr's and keep up with type r's, all because he was a very good driver. when he shifted he could hit 2 so hard that the CD player would skip and turn itself off. he is also the only guy in school that learnt how to do a brakestand with a manual, before him everyone said brakestands were only for automatics.
