This didnt happen recently, but I just thought of it since I had an encounter with a 5.0 earlier today. Back last summer I was driving around my home town in Iowa and another 5.0 with a lil High school kid driving started revving his engine at me. I didnt really race, but I kinda got on it to show him that I like to play around... anyway, he's right behind me and we're coming up to a gradual 90* turn that you cant take at more than 20mph or so on a stock suspension. Im comin at this turn at 35-40 and took it at around 35 the whole way with my suspension setup. I took the corner fine, my back end came out a little bit but nothing I couldnt countersteer and correct. Well I look in my mirror and this guy in his mustang thought he could take the turn with me, well he couldnt. His back end fishtailed like a mofo and he overcorrected the turn, then got his car into a crazy fishtail with more overcorrection and eventually ended up doing a 180 in his lane and stopped facing the other way while Im just watching all of this in my mirror... it was really funny. For anyone debating a new suspension, do it... it ownz.

Reminds me of a story my friend told me about a time when he was driving his dads s2000. He was coming to a left turn and and the light was going yellow, so he got on it hit the turn pretty hard, ended up spinning a 180 in the middle of the intersection. Best part was there were a good bit of cars sitting at the other side that got to witness the show, and he was facing them when he got done. LOL freaked the hell out of him, he spun a quick 180 to get back where he was going and got the crap outta there lol. I wish I could have seen it.

About 130 for the springs, 180 for the shocks/struts, and 45 for my strut tower brace. I installed all of it, but it wasnt too bad at all.

i cant wait to get my suspension done. get rid of my 4x4 looking fender gap. looking to get tein springs(i think h-tech or something), tokiko illuminas, front and rear strut tower braces, front and rear sway bars, and a full prothane bushing kit. i want to make miatas cry on turns, then destroy them in the straights.

I'm ready to get my springs. But yeh, I've had a similar story, I was making a left turn in the rain, and coasted through the intersection, went to turn, gave it a touch of gas and did a 180 in one lane. I ended up with the rear bumper of my car about 6 inches from another guy, I could hear him screaming through his windows and mine lol. It was great. Hence the reason my car is never given gas from a stop in the rain.
