Well, after months of waiting, Im finally doing a full exhaust upgrade that will hopefully get me the power I've been looking for. My MAC LT headers and O/R H-pipe are sitting next to me and my MAC durablack cat-back went out for delivery this morning. Ill be bolting her in starting tomorrow when I get off work.
Hopefully all my current hanger mounts are in the right places now so I dont have to move them or drill any holes.
Ill post a pic of my cat-back tomorrow and update yall on all the progress.
NEW PICS: The first few pics show my stock headers verses the new ones, and a pic of my stock exhaust. I also took a picture of all of my stock hanger mounts. The shop that did my last exhaust seemed to have mounted them just where ever they got to firs...lol. Anyways, there is also a pic of my h-pipe, I was wonderin what those skinny extentions are? I dont think they are hangers are they?? Also, the kit that came with my mac cat-back is pictured (not all of it but yeah) How am I supposed to use these brakets and bolts/nuts and those long threaded things? As you can tell... I need someone here that has done this before or something!!

I know you want to hurry and get it all on but I would STRONGLY recommend
that you get the Headers Coated first .Mac headers are know to rust badly
I had mine silver ceramic coated 2 years ago .

It's around 200.00 but it's worth it . The HTS coating on the Mac Headers will burn right off then the rust will start taking over .

Doesn't a good coating also keep temps in the engine compartment lower (to a point) and keep the exhaust gasses hotter longer which is good with long tubes?

Well it helps with the engine bay heat for sure but if you don't get them coated before you put them on they will look like crapp inside of a year .

well, too bad I dont have the $200 o the time right now for the coating.
I started with the install today. Got intire stock exhaust off That was more difficult than expected. Then I also got the LT's almost fished, just got to tighen down all the bolts.
So tomorrow comes H-pipe and cat-back. After taking previous mid-pipe and cat-back off, I disscovered that I may have my work cut out for me tomorrow with hanger placement. There were 2 hanger mounts on the mufflers, and 2 more that could be seen behind the wheel hubs. Now, on the MAC cat-back, there are 2 hangers but they dont appear to come up as high as the previous ones. Then there are slots in the MAC tips, but I cant figure out how to use the brackets etc that came with the cat-back. If anyone understands what I am talking about... please help me know what to do with these brackets and hangers and what not!

I dunno about engine bay temps...my headers still get pretty hot.
My Jet-Hot coating got owned by the salt this winter. They lasted through most of it but the rust finally ate through and the very bottom is down to the metal and has some surface rust on it. The primaries themselves are for the most part still in perfect condition with the coating, just the collector seems to have taken the worst hit.
hopefully this will let your car breather and make the power you should.

awesome. Well I got it all put on! Only prob really was the passenger side muffler hanger mount which was the wrong kind so we ended up using wire (For temporary) Anyways, It sounds freaking bad up till 3200 where it thins out a bit, but still sounds nice. Main thing though I know I gained alot of horsepower... alot.

Cool I did tell you the clogged cats were robbing you. I gained 20 + and noticed it immediately when I put on the O/R H pipe
Congrats
