Squeeling problem

Ok, I just started having this problem the other day. When turning the wheel left or right, i get a squeeling noise (think an amplified noise of "IM TURNING MY CAR'S WHEELS ON WET CONCRETE!"). Anytime that i turn i get this noise. However, if left at rest the car makes no noise, which rules out power steering pump. What else could be causing this?

its probably a tire rod or a ball joint. Mine was tire rod, is it passenger side, they are very bad for doing that, i took a needle point greese gun adn shot it up on the tire rod and it fixed it for a bit.
