if you don't like the look of your rims in the rear being so far in compared to the fender well i highly recommend some h&r 1" hubcentric wheel spacers.
i bought a pair off a friend almost brand new for $140 and they make my 17x8 cobra's look nearly flush with the fender. mind you there still is gap but it's more like a 9" out back now without the sticking out look up front the 17x9 gives.
and if you happen to be running a 9" rear wheel get this and it will be flush without having to get a big-ass 10.5" tire

yea with 17 by 8s the rears sit in a little to much for me... if you dont want spacers and have a pre 99 just get a 99+ 8.8 rear lol
