it's just the state of mind. Nobody owns a v6 cuz they don't want to go fast. We have them because we like the looks of the car, can't afford insurance, or can't afford a GT. That about covers it, and tell us as much as you want to just go buy a GT, sometimes it ain't that easy.

because I like to see people's face when I tell them it's a v6
I'd still LOVE to own a cobra or 5.0...but the v6 was my first car and I've turned it into what it is today. So to mod it and know I've done it all kinda makes me proud.

Bought my car for 4k dollars and will have 2400 into it and be right at 13's
I'll take my 13 second V6 Mustang for 6400 dollars and 90 dollars a month insurance over your 15 second GT and god knows what insurance.

He has a Forged 4.2 kit coming from Mik complete with ME heads and intakes and I forget which cam at this minute

that only cost $2400? the 4.2 shortblock alone is $2200 without shipping.
MXE heads cost a good $1k, intakes another $500, cam gaskets, bolts, misc hardware...
how does this add to $2400?

Because you dont own a forum with sponsorship. There are perks!!!  I believe his kit from Mik will end up costing under 2400. He is also using a spare 3.8 block that will be magnafluxed for cracks, punched 30 over and decked I will be building it for him

WOO HOO Big crap I had a Z28 NA That would have skull fvcked a 5.0 with a supercharger MUHAHHAHAHHAHAHAHHA And with nitrous it would have left you want at the starting line asking why did I buy a 5.0 MUHAHAHAHHAHAHHAHA
This whole thread is a load of crap. There will always be someone faster even if you have a V8. That is why bragging is retarded and useless. I personally think a Fox body looks like a square box with ugly ass interior and would never own one even if it had 1000 HP. But that is my opinion. But who cares about my opinion really only I should so. Screw I am better than you crap. I like cars and modding I could care less if someone thinks it is a waste. But really isnt all modding really a waste. Hell some people like wasting money fishing because really it is cheaper to buy it at a fish market than the cost of a boat and gear.

I really doubt it. Ive raced quite a few NA Z28 with all the bolt ons and whooped them all so muahaha else where
 why you gotta take a cheap shot at my car for. Brent showed what he can do wit the amount of cash for his and im showing what the amount of cash can do for mine. But obviously you seen me post so you had to take the cheap shot. Fact is whether you think my car is ugly is still faster then you and majority of this board and others. Well there you go worrying about my opinion. Why I was not hammering your car just foxes in general and really it is only my opinion so again why would you care. Evidently many have a different opinion than I given the enormous number of people who mod fox bodies
As for My NA Z28 with 550 RWHP NA and 750 with a 200 nitrous shot it was a beast. But I was a profession builder of Marine racing engine and had access to some wild stuff right off the racing circuit. But that is in the past I do it for hobby now.
As I said everyone has a hobby or activity that waste money. What you waste it on is a personal thing.

Okay that Z28 does sound like a beast....but id still own your ass....given a year  What year Z28 cause a buddy of mine did a 200 shot and well lets just say some things went Kaboom. But now hes running a nice single turbo that cant hook for the life of him
