I know you have a WOT that sprays your engine when you are at wide open throttle... but does it spray in first, second, third and fourth gear??? What rpms... do you set what rpm it sprays at?
How does a tune work with this? Can you flip the switch on the fly if you want to spray or do you have to turn the car off flip the switch and crank it back up?
Just wondering how this all works because I am looking at it once I get my engine put in

Youve got the WOT switch, and then another "arm" switch. Basically, since you have an auto you wont need a window switch, so you have full control of when you turn it on. In first gear as long as your at WOT, you just flip the arm switch on at a certain RPM, and itll start spraying till you either let off the gas, or turn the switch off. I always spray at 3k in first gear and just let it go till im done with whatever Im doing. You dont want to spray in O/D gear though since its so weak...

If he was wondering about turbos, Brent is smart enough to ask about turbos. Since he is wondering about nitrous, he asked about nitrous. Go take a cough drop and quit cluttering up the tech boards with useless, annoying posts.
Also with the nitrous, how much does a bottle fill usually run?

The way the WOT works is it sprays once you have that window switch armed. If its not flipped nothing is spraying. This is where the rpm window switch comes to play. The pills you put in is where it will spray IE me i had the 3000 rpm - 6000 rpm pills. when armed (you can throw it in for off the line or once into 1st gear) it sprays exactly at 3000 rpms and end right before it shifts (thats the biggie spray must end before shift)
As for the tune at the time Jerry from Fordchip tuned it using a flipchip. One setting was for "normal" no nitrous, and when I feel the need to use the nitrous a simple flip of the toggle and it goes over to setting for nitrous (advanced timing and etc) and yes it works as easy as flip last second type of deal.
Also as for how long a bottle lasts all depends how much of a shot your using the higger the shot the quicker the tanks empties. Usually lasts about 10 uses depending how long you use the shot too.

Im presuming it could be. I think it be better for a push button on 5 spd considering your in control of shifting.

brent on a auto nitrous is great cause it will just keep spraying throughout the whole run. on a manual if you have a wot switch itll automatically turn off the nitrous when you let your foot off the gas, cause, though im not 100% correct, using nitrous at a 0throttle, idle or deceleration is very bad. and if youre using a "fast and furious" type of switch(button on wheel, etc) you should take your finger off the button during shifts.
as for tune, you need to look into a chip that lets you switch between 2 or more specific tunes. one for daily(good mileage one) one for race w/o nitrous and one for race w/nitrous. i remember back when i was looking into modding the tbird some place made a 2 part tuning chip, one street, and one track, that had a toggle you mount to switch between the two.
if you do a single tune with nitrous the only drawback is when you go wot without nitrous you will be running very rich. cause with nitrous as you should know, you must add more fuel to compensate.

You don't need a tune for an occasional 100 shot and for 75 shot. Just run the highest pump octane you can get (93 usually) and get one heat range cooler spark plugs (autolite 764s). You only need a tune or a flip switch if you have timing advanced and need the other setting to retard timing during nitrous usage.
