Plug wires ....change them?

The 96 stang's plug wires are the original factory wires.So,they are nearly ten years old.The car starts well and does not miss.Aside from being dirty they look ok.
However,because of their age,should they be changed?I'm wondering if overall perfomance can be affected?

Yeah,I know.I just wonder over time if the performance is affected.

you probably think it isn't affected, but unless you've had the car for the entire 10 years, and have a very good memory, you don't really remember how well it ran then. if you replaced the plugs and wires (they should be done at the same time) you'd probably notice a pleasant change. i know i did when i changed mine

yeah I agree 10 years ols CHANGE THEM ,get a nice set of 9mm wires .
