Sorry if it seems like I'm riding on someone else's coat tails, but check the for sale forums at 3.8mustang.com and you can see all the feedback and comments I've received.
I've been a carpenter and upholstery assistant for about 4 years and made a couple of these kits for a friend and me. He was so impressed he said I should try selling them. I've since made over 40 kits for streetcars and showcars alike!
These kits are custom made to your specs and fit 99-04 Mustangs. Their quality is comparable to a piece of home furniture! They are made out of rigid and durable 1/2" MDF, not 3/8", or 1/4"plywood like others I've seen. They are covered in your choice of materials; grey, charcoal and black automotive mat (the material used in your trunk liner) or your choice of vinyl. I am open to alternatives so don't be shy.
These kits are all joined by two steel hinges, adding to the kits stability and eliminating vibrations common to other kits. They also allow the back portion of the kit to be folded down for easy access to the trunk storage space.
A custom design with backing such as the running horse design below starts at $105.00. Prices may vary depending on design requests. Plain kits will set you back only $55.00!
Other options and pricing include:
Vinyl covering instead of automotive carpet: + $10.00 (any color available so ask)
Plexiglass backing for you cutout design: + 10.00 (colors available)
Shipping anywhere in continental US: $30.00
For any questions or to order contact me:
Now for the good part THE PICTURES!! (I will be updating them with more pictures as more are made.
TAKE NOTE! All my kits are covered on all visible sides so you will never see any ugly uncovered wood from even the trunk. (This is a grey kit, to color match this interior color charcoal would be the perfect match. See the last pic)
Check out this convertible kit:
Ok guys now here is the Trunk (Decklid mat) For those of you that don't know it fits on the inside of the trunk and is right in your face when you open your trunk up for display purposes. I will get some pictures of it installed soon. ALL THE INSTALLATION HARDWARE IS INCLUDED WITH THESE KITS! Price is $45.00 for one of these, shipping is only $15.00!!
Thanks for the interest in my products everyone and feel free to contact me by e-mail at . You can also check out my e-bay auctions username:
Thanks!

About the trunk mat, can you get those with the running horse. And get it with like the charcoal colored carpet, and a red running horse, that would be awesome, and how much would that be, Thanks, Matt

First off attachments are your friend. (pssst, they dont make me angry and require me to scroll half a page at 1280x1024 )
Secondly we don't take too kindly to people registering on the site only too whore their products (especially those that make their first post doing so)
Last, no one gets to come on here and only post in the for sale section selling their custom made parts without either paying for sponsor ship or contributing to this forum by means of useful posts; Sponsoring our website monthly at these rates:
 |
 |
 |
Quote:
$360 For One Year Advertising
$180 For 6 Months Advertising
$90 For 3 Months Advertising
or you can pay by month at 30 dollars per month.
|
 |
 |
 |
While we do offer this for sale section on the website it is intended for loyal members selling parts or sponsors of the site selling their products.
With all that said welcome to the site and hopefully you will find the other forums outside of the for sale sections

Those are kick ass!
Would love to see sumthing in the Mach1 rear deck lid possibly? seems to be the big thing right now, and probably the rear seat trunk cover there too, do you possibly enclose a neon of color choice to shine through aswell on the say the mustang sign or roush design?
that would be kewl to see a lite shine through the cut area, seems to be the big thing at the car shows now a days!
shoot me a email if you like : krazypony@charter.net

Looks like you're getting enough business to start paying to advertise now, those look pretty dang cool.

Do you have any installed pics? I have seen other trunk liners from another company and they look badass. Your price is nearly half of theirs. Once I see one installed, I will definitely be getting with you if I like the looks. I knew it was a good idea to hold off on the other one.
Oh, and welcome...

No problem. I just snapped these two. This trunk mat was made for demonstration purposes so the color is not the same color matched material that is on Matt's.

Yes you do have to drill 4 holes to install them. They include the installation hardware and instructions. I was going to use plastic pins like the others but I changed the hardware for special threaded tap bolts and 4 finishing bolts to hold it in place. One of the big differences between my kits and others is that with the others the install is perminant (or you break the plastic pins). With mine you can easily unscrew it to have access under your decklid, like if you want to change your spoiler or something. The install is easy and takes about 10 minutes.
As far as leather goes, I can do it but it'll cost quite a bit. I do have vinyl at an extra cost of only $5.00 in almost any color.

is that mustang reflective or just light in color?
looks real good...safe to assume 45.00 plus shipping the going rate for "basic" design and color of our choice?

Until you decide to become a site sponsor you will not be able to sell your products on the site anymore. I believe I gave you a nice good trial run and I hope you will come back and sponsor the site when you have the money to do so.
