The wife and I have seen a few minutes of it, and can't quite figure it out.

one theory is they are acting out with puppets actual crank calls?

I think i know what that is. Is that on comedy central?
Is it that show that uses 'puppets' that make calls to places.
I think i watched it one time when this guy puppet called a florest got flowers for some girl, and wanted the note to say all kinds of obsence things. It was acutally kinda funny.

But you can't record a telephone call without the other 'party' knowing that you recorded it. Do you think they let on afterwards and got their ok, otherwise they are broadcasting to the whole free world that they are breaking the law.

Remember when Linda Tripp recorded the calls with Monica? They wanted to prosecute her for those recordings, how is this show that different?
