i wouldnt put a steeda cable, what are are you trying to do exactly? If you want to adjust your clutch petal height (all you can do with a cable) then you need to go to upr and get there clutch quadrent and firewall adjuster (get the quadrent with like 3 hooks or something)
but be warned!!!! just cuz you can lower the petal's ENGAGMENT point the petal WILL STILL floop due to the slack by lowering it and raise its wonderful little self all the way back up to the top so you still have to raise your foot up just as high... it just dont start grabing till you are alot farther down...
www.maximummotorsports.com has a kit that moves the clutch stop down lower so... the petal cant raise up as high... this is what you will need, The best adjustment is taking all the slack out of the petal so its firm at the top and you have a half inch of petal when you start to push it in before the clutch starts to slip (go down the road at 55mph hold the gas constant with your right foot and push the clutch in slowly if you get half an inch before the rpms jump up your good.
If i let slack get in my petal my throw out bearing will tick ASAP its horrid... If i keep the slack out of it its fine... just keep a half inch in it before it starts to slip.
