back seat question....

i decided to lay my backseats down since no one ever rides back there. but.. they dont lay totally flat because of the lower part of the seat cushion. so my question is . does the bottom cushion of the seat come out? if so i think that would allow the "back" cushion to lay tottally flat.

please reply...

It does come out... how I am not sure

There are two tabs underneath the backseats at the front.... put your hand under the front and slide it across and you will feel the two tabs... release these tabs and the seats come up and you now have to look for bolts I assume to unbolt the cusions

The tabs are actually white lock mechanisms. You have to find a little button to push and they will release the bottom cushion. It comes right out. After that just pull your other seats down and it will be flat. You will experience a lot of road noise that way though.

it pops right out, just take a long phillips screw driver, not that long... but what ever, and run it under the edge of the bottom seat where it meets the carpet starting at the side of the car by the door and you will hit a bump, there is a little butting you push in on the front of that bump push it in with the end of the screw driver, when you hit the bump you will have to move the screw driver to the front of it, the button is NOT on the side, and then just pull up, same on the other side, the buttons are about 12 inches in from each side then the whole bottom parts just comes right out... not much to it.
