I was watching Fox News this morning as I ate my Cookie Crisp, and some woman, who had already once forgotten the words to the Star-Spangled Banner, was singing the national anthem before a hockey game.
Well, what do you know, she gets about halfway through, and FORGETS THE WORDS! She was like "Sorry!" and ran off the ice and to the side, where someone handed her the lyrics (who has these things at a hockey game?) and she came back towards the ice, but that first step on ice owned her. She fell flat on her ass, and just laid there a minute, got up, and just left.
I looked for a video, but I couldn't find one, and I don't know her name.

awesome, hey i got a vid of a chick forgetting some words to the national anthem, but its at a basketball game and probably a r3post.
those are good times, you would have thought she would have rehearsed more.

Heat of the moment, things can get screwy in your head. I did drama for church, and I could know my part perfect (did the same skit 3 years in a row at differnt mission trips, 20 times a trip) and in front of the right crowed, I would still forget my lines sometimes.

yea, if you have a lot of trouble with forgetting stuff under pressure, maybe you shouldn't do stuff like our nations national anthem at major events

^ exactly. I don't care if she can't speak English at all. I can't speak German, but I know a lot of the words, or pretty damn close to it anyways, to a lot of Rammstein songs.
And she reminds me of Ashlee Simpson. She said the pressure got to her? At a hockey game where only 7,166 people would see her normally? Oh, but put her on American National Television, yeah, she can do that fine...
