just ordered the back rims and tires, they have the front rims in stock but the tire is out of stock, how long does it take to restock? one more question, a friend of mine wants to buy my old rims and tires, will they fit a 92 LX 5.0? they are the original 17x8 bullits

Only if he has done a 5-lug swap. If not, it will not fit his car.

This is American Muscle right. I remember I was going to buy rims through them. They ran out of the deep dish bullitts, so I called them, and the service guy told me it could be up to 6 months before they restock

He said they order a certain amount from the manufacturer and once they sell out, they have to wait for the manufacturer to produce more and make them available...which could take up to 6 months.

I'm hoping the tires are different. Which tires were you going to get for the fronts?

sumitomo high performance htrz 2 275/35/18, i hope its not 6 months, i cant sleep at night waiting for these rims and tires, step-up american muscle

American Muscle is a great place. I don't think it'll take them 6 months to get the tires. The tires are probably easier to get than the rims. I have the same tires only in 17's. They're pretty popular tires so they'll probably have more soon. I'd call them tomorrow to get an idea of when more will be restocked.

I don't mind them. They came with the tire package from tirerack. Basically not a bad tire for the price. They grip pretty well and aren't terrible on wet pavement. You can't find a 315/35/17 tire for $100, that's for sure.

When mine wear out I'll probably replace them with BFG's or Eagle F1 GS-D3's...not because the Sumi's are horrible tires, but I've always wanted BFG's or Eagle F1's.

for a 10 inch wide rim a 295/35/18 works fine a 315 will be to much tire (unless the tire runs VERY narrow like nittos tend to do)

got the back rims and tires today, they look awesome, i didnt know my lugnuts wouldnt fit so they are still not on, still waiting for front tires to be restocked, also noticed that new tires are a lot taller than my stock ones, how bad is this going to affect my speedo? and what can i do to fix this? looks almost two inches taller

i am still waiting for the front tires to restock, i call every friday and they say it will be next friday and they cant promise thats going to happen, if they dont have them next friday i am going to buy the tires from tire rack and mount them myself

if you want wheel locks you can go with gorilla lug nuts from summit, every one of em is a lock and they are about 40 bucks for 20

i was wrong about the lugnuts, i just needed a slim sockett

my car is 26 inches front ground to bottom edge of the fender and 26.5 rear~ I have H&R race. The H&R super sports are to low. The race are as low as you should go and expect to drive anywhere lol. Go measure yours to see what the drop will be as mine sat diff from the factory~ I think stock is 28.25 but... that would mean I droped mine 2.25 inches which cant be true.

MY bad i have the super race springs which provides a 1.0-1.75"F .75-1.25"R drop where as the race springs provide the same drop but with less spring rate. the super sport is 1.75"F 1.6"R which is damn low. site for referance Suspension Products for Ford Mustang GT 2004

your ride looks sweet, being a gt with those springs does it rub any or anything i should look-out for? i am really interested in dropping my car but dont want any suprises

if you drop with H&R race you will be fine but pulling into places you will have to go at an angle and over big speed bumps you might touch your cars, I dont unless its a really bad bump, I do hit my K member brace but you dont have one of those.
