finally did what needed to be done

well sunday morning at 2:30 am she calls me drunk and leaves a message that says
"hey kyle, i'm sorry. i should've listened to you, you were right. he is an ass and thats all he wanted. i'll talk to you tommorrow."
so i call her up sunday evening and she is with some friends playing poker and that she would call me back---she doesnt.
so today, about 2 i call her up and basically tell her that
"this is way too much bullshit and i already lost a friend of 10yrs b/c of this situation. drama belongs in high school leave it there. i cant, and dont wanna, deal with all this shit. i should have let you go a couple months ago but couldnt. but i now realize that it has to be done. goodbye."
toward the end of this, i heard what sounded like her dropping the phone on the ground. she didnt hang up b/c i saw we were still connected.
now i have to wait until tommorrow at 2 when i ask the girl in my english class out to lunch.  
i dont have a long mourning period when i comes to this, which to me is a good thing.

well i finally read that previous thread, and now this one, and from a girl's point of view...she sounds like she was just using u as a back up plan even though she says she didnt' want a relationship but still went out with ur friend...thats messed up...and that gives girls such a bad name cause not all of us are like that....but i agree with u...i would have done the same thing if a guy did that to me

Dude why would you mourn She was not your girlfriend. Wow after reading the first post and this I see that you were still hanging on to the thought of being involved with her but you were just a crutch like everyone said. You have been the creator of the very drama you said you hated and brought it here!!!  Forget her and to hell with mourning for something you never had !!!

Please, there are far worst things posted on a daily basis. I rather have a thread about someone seeking advise or telling a personal story than a thread about getting high or street racing.
