What year is the car?
Usually if people give me the year and transmission of their car I will have a computer code off the top of my head, since I do so many.

There is a label on the EEC located behind the passenger side kick panel.
Pull the panel & you can see it.
Example below. In this example the code is KZA1

Yeah FAZ3 is a common 00 code, and compatible with all 99-00 V6 5spds, its also a non-cali emissions code.

special emissions cars were sold in cali, and some other states, in 99-00 they had an air pump and a different computer code because of that air pump
the air pump tends to go bad, so i turn it off in all my tunes, this will not cause you to fail an emissions test

how much hp would i gain with a SCT tune with 89 octane and 92 octane and with upgrades like rpm max effort heads, 535/.531 cam with a 110 LCA and true dual exhuast with cats but no mufflers and a cai and underdrive pulley. just wondering how much a chip would give me cause i know i am getting a SCT chip once i get my heads and cam from rpm.

Well, on a stock car you'll see about 10-15hp and 10-15tq with just a 91-93 oct tune. On a HCI car you'll see a little more, because the stock rev limiter is at 5600rpm, and with the ported heads and cam you'll keep making power to 5800-6k.
