I got an 2004 ford mustang and I like to know that if I can buy gt part for it or 4.6L stuff? Most of the part are made fpr a gt.
I like to buy part for it! Like Throttle Bodies, Fuel Delivery System etc but i like to make it fast! I know it a v6 but there is something I could do. What part should I start with?
Thankx
 Gabe

WHat are you trying to buy for it? Without knowing that we can't tell you if you can buy it or not.

There are tons of V6 specific parts for your engine. Look at Super Six Motorsports to get an idea of what's out there.

The GT's 4.6L v8 has different components and parts than the 3.8 v6. Any mechanical or related to the engine/drivetrain part for a GT is not going to work on a v6.
As 2007stang said, exterior body parts, some interior parts, and some aftermarket brakes/rotors will fit both v6/GT's.
Do some research for v6 parts...it's a huge market now...American Muscle is a good place to start.

it seems 90% are interchangable between v6 and gt. the specific engine/transmission stuff are not though but most items are the same

First of all why do you want gt parts. Second i guess you can put the stock gt hose on there and let it kinda lay there. And tell us how much more horsepower you want and what you want to spend. And as for "first" parts go a short throw shifter if its a 5speed. gears and a t-loc.

No dude, you need V6 parts for your V6. It's just that simple. Anything you can buy as a 4.6L upgrade, you can also find a 3.8L counterpart - sometimes cheaper.

Most of the time cheaper. Remember, bigger engine, bigger pricetag
