I don't care if you hate the Mach 460 H/U, so save the post. In my dads 01, whenever I eject a CD then try to load another cd all I get is "CD ERROR" and it won't let me load a new cd or play a cd thats already loaded, then the cd player randomly starts working again a few hours later. anyone else ever had this problem and solved it (other than replacing the H/U)

my old one used to randomly spit out my cd, when I would load a cd it sometimes would click for like 5 minutes before it grabbed it and could play, and sometimes after the 5 minutes of clicking it would spit it back out, also when I would turn my car on it almost always would spit my cd out. That is when I decided aftermarket.
The 460 6 disc changers have problems, I never had any problems out of mine, but ppl are always complaining about them getting stuck on cd's and such, it's just a problem these models have.

i have a 03 vert. and my mach 460 system jammed all the time.. AFter i loaded 6 cds then tryed to take one out it would jam while attempting to eject; however, if i only had 5 cds and then ejected one out... this problem didnt happen.. i took my car under warranty back to the dealer and had a new head unit installed.. no problems since
I had problems with mine when it was still under warranty. I just took it back to the dealer and they swapped it out for a new one. Haven't had any problems since. The only thing is that they WILL jam up on you if you put in a CD with a paper pabel, like one you'd make with a CD stomper or something of that sort. It eats up the wheel that draws the CD into the player.

I was talking to a friend today w/ the in dash CD changer, and that is EXACTLY what he told me.
