Gt 500 supercharger on a Gt?

I was wondering about getting a supercharger. A friend of mine is selling his gt500 stock supercharger at a great price, because he got a whipple. The supercharger only comes with the throttle body and well the supergharger.
Am I able to hook it up to my engine? If so, how would I change the setup since the cai would be moved?
Also what else would I need? Will I need an intercooler instead of a radiator? or will like a mishimoto performance radiator work?

You should be able to, but you'd have to ask one of the more knowledgeable guys on the site like venom or Spector.

Dammit...I lost my typeup.
Anyhow, no, you need much more than just a radiator. You need the full intercooler and heat exchanger setup to run correctly.
It won't be a direct bolt on in any stretch. You'll need an adater or a lower intake that will match up with the smaller valley span on your 4.6 as compared to the 5.4....plus the heads don't have the same openings.
If you have the ability to fabricate something...go for it. But I don't see this being a simple install otherwise.

I did a quick search and I'm not finding anything where anyone did this. But I know for a fact you would at least need a lower intake as the stock GT500 would be too wide for the narrower 4.6...and then possibly some sort of adapter if you didn't fab up the lower yourself.

Your's is a V6 right? At least you have an adapter in production basically. To bolt it onto a GT, there isn't really an adapter being made. Some people are having them made or making it themselves...so, you're already ahead of the game there.

what is a good size turbo. I am not looking for alot of power. I just want something that will get me around 450. Would like a small jdm turbo work? |

Well, turbos really aren't usually cheap, but if you want the most power out of the least amount of boost, it is definitely the way to go. I do know that much.

you figure someone would come up with a kit for the 05+ gt's to bolt up an 03/04 cobra blower OR a gt 500 blower.
I would like to know if the roush blower plate will work with the GT500 blower~ or 03/04 cobra blower (if it will work with the 03/04 cobra you can go wtih a whipple etc as well)
worth looking into~

My tech had one for sale-he indicated the same thing as `Venom-this is NO bolt up swap. I had mild interest-until he told me that

If you get the lower intake from the roush TVS kit. The GT500 blower will bolt right up to a 3V 4.6, and the intercooler is made into the lower intake. so you kill two birds with one stone. The problem is I tried to buy just the lower intake from roush and they want 2 grand just for the lower intake. so by the time you buy everything to install it on your car. you can buy a kit that comes with a better blower than the eaton.

you MAY can ebay a lower intake~ If you have to spend more than 2-2.5k on the entire setup I would just save and buy a twin screw

It most trouble than its worth. Just buy a procharger kit that's made for your car.

The TVS blower's lower intake should be what you need to bolt up the blower to the 4.6 2v.
Also you won't need intercoolers b/c the intercoolers are assembled into the lower intake. They have some of the biggest intercoolers also... best deal.
