The gas pedal mod is a good one to do. It helps, if only a little.

I moved my spoiler back and it looks badass so id say that one is about the only one worth while, if you dont mind drilling in the trunk lid.

and if you have relatively big shoulders there's almost no way you are getting in there with 2 hands. I spent 15 mins doing a 2 min mod because I couldn't get my damn arms in there.

on what basis or experience do you make your judgement? I'm not arguing with you I want to know what's going to go wrong or what happened to you that made you have this opinion.

well the free mods include but are not limited to:
removing the air box around the air filter, just lets hot air in, not worth anything other than looks of seeing the air filter.
you can also take up the slack in your thorttle cable, doesnt do anything other than lets you know your at WOT, the cable will stretch back out in a little bit... thus you are back where you started. If you get a friend to listen at the throttle body and you push the gas petal in all the way (comfortably all the way) and he/she hears a slick then the throttle is WOT.
Stickin a resistor (100k ohm) in the IAC temp sensor for the incomming air to make it think its cold out side (air is colder than it is) to add more fuel... just makes you run rich, good i guess for a little more low end tq boost... like 2-3 maybe, but you SUCK gas hard core.
Seat mod... it can be worth it but you usually dont recline all the way back in a mustang and if you are... you dont need to be driving like that (and mustangs are to small to use a lay down seat for anything else...)
Weight reduction... you can take carp out of the car... but thats not practical about the only thing you could remove and it not be a burden would be the spare tire/jack... but then you cant put anything in the trunk cuz the little wodden board wont support crap, and its worth like 30lbs... thats nothing... and the rear seat is worth 40-45 however you wont have a backseat... and it will look crappy.. you can do a rear seat delete to add back 15lbs....
about the ONLY thing thats free and worth to do is to put your stock 15 inch wheels back on the car when you are running 17s... it shaves off about a tenth of a second~ ... maybe

whoa.. someone is negative
i do mods purely for the enjoyment of doing them... im not expecting to lose 5 secs on my quarter mile.. i enjoy toying with my car and spending time doing it. so im my opinion any mod is worth it if you enjoy doing it

I like my stereo mod so far...eventhough it was far from free. But I have now completely rewired my whole stereo short of my power wire to my stereo itself, just don't see the need, but who knows, I may get bored next week.

the gas pedal mod can be great, especially if you heel/toe when you drive, the pedal in my car sits down nearly an inch below the brake pedal, and i cant heel/toe, so i gotta pull my foot off the brake, blip the throttle, downshift and get back onto the brake
