A few tint questions

-First off what should I expect to pay to have my car tinted?

-Second, I the rear window has those "black spots" on the glass...dont know what the purpose of them is for but how does this work with the tint...does it look funny, same with the rear def. wires?

-Third, What kind of tint do you recommend?

should cost you like 110 and the bubbles in the back, well in my car they just sanded them a bit and it came out good.

I paid 75 for my tint to be done, and now I do it myself. As far as the rear "dots" that's called a "dot matrix". The easiest thing to do back there is just get a solid black vinyl strip and put it over it inside the window, tint isn't gonna stick right over it.

Yeah I am thinking of getting my car retitnted darker, and adding the 4inch width in the front so it blocks the sun were the sun visors dont,especially in the mornings.

I took a blk vinyl strip aswell and applied it in the back and turned out fine, just took some time for it to seal up with the sun and all, but alot better than what the tint would have done up that high.

The mention of the defront lines in the rear, you wont even notice them back there from the outside of the car when the tint is applied!

Hey krazypony, you do know there is an indicator line on the windshield that shows how far down the tint can legally go. ASC1 line, my tint is about an inch below this, but I've never had any problems with it. Just letting you know when you get this done.

i paid 150 and they tinted everything and did the vinyl stripping. i know its expensive but they are the only tint place around. but anyways, the vinyl is the most common thing to take care of the dot matrix but i heard some people also paint them.

Yeah a friend of mine was telling me that yesterday too, I was like WTH...guess have to test the waters a bit then...havent heard of anyone getting stopped for that!
