I have a 99 v6 w/ cai, udp, x-calibrator chip, it's a five speed, 4.10 gears w/t-loc, short shifter and dual exhaust. What should I do now so that it will run low 14s in the drag strip. I prefer going N/A, Ported upper and lower intakes first? there's so many options.

It's gonna take alot more. You definately need to get a cam, heads and intake package and maybe even a 4.2 stroker for the extra torque. That there should get you close too 300bhp and definately in the 14's

You should be in the high 14's as is.
With a good launch & good driving.
I would say ported intakes might just do it.

Cut some weight out of the stang. I have been doing weight reduction and it really helps the acceleration. Try that it is cheaper, take out spare tire, sound deadening and put in light weight race seats.

thats not going to significantly help though. get H/C/I and most likely you will be in high 13's, with good driving.

Thanks guys, but one question, where should i get the ported and polished intakes, from the web? I see rpm-mustangs.com and super six motorsports, but there's so many options as to what else I should do, like the 65mm or 70mm throttle inlet, bolt post removal, divet welding, deleted egr ports, imrc delete and enlarged ports. Are any of these things really worth adding? I probably won't add a blower to my engine btw, so what do you guys think.

RPM & Super six are both great places to order from.
Contact them both, explain your goals for the car, and make an informed decision from their responses.
They are the experts & will give you an honest reply.
I have dealt with both.

Well I just got back from the drag, very disappointed in my times. I am pretty sure it had to do with my crappy launches cuz I bogged and didn't catch traction for a good second all the time. Anyways, heres what I got:
BTW: these are my two best times out of the six times.
R/T: 0.535 0.295
60: 2.331 2.221
1/8: 10.208 10.208
MPH: 70.73 70.25
1000: 13.207 13.269
1/4: 15.744 15.807
MPH: 85.96 89.48
I was shifting at about red line most of the time. Anyone give me some tips?

Regarding track numbers.
A huge factor in how you run is:
1. Track conditions.
2. Weather conditions. If the temp or Humidity are higher or the Baro pressure lower your times will suffer.

Can someone tell me how to achieve 300hp in a V6. Mine is an 04 with a 5speed and I'm trying to find the right combination to achieve the 300 mark, and will that give me a good et on the track?

Question for you.
the 300hp mark you speak of is that at the wheels or the crank?
