hey i did a search and couldnt find any info on this.
I have a 2000 mustang,
Are the gt rotors larger, or the same size as ours
Or
Are the cobra rotors larger than ours.
If so are there any modifications i would need to do to swap the front caliper, rotor and backing plate onto my car.

thanks for the help

you can get a complete cobra break swap kit (front and rear) on www.stangsuspension.com ...that'd be all the stopping power you'd ever need ...and since they're a site sponsor, i think you get a discount

I too also sell brake kits. Anyways, you have the same brakes as GTs, which is 11" rotors in front. the cobras have 13" rotors in front.

If you bump up to the cobra brakes, you'll need at least 17 inch wheels to clear the rotors and calipers, something to remember.

the GT and V6 have Identical brake calipers and rotors, the gt's just have a little better brake pads for some reason. The cobra brakes bolt right up. The swap is very cheap and looks GREAT and stops alot better also especially if you have a pre 99 v6. You must have 17+ inch rims to upgrade to 13 inch cobra rotors and cobra calipers.
